Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of goods within the warehouse. Customs Brokerage Agent is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance of in-bound cargo through US Customs and facilitating the delivery of freight to customers. The position serves as a customer advocate and must possess professional customer service skills.
Job duties:
-Introduce importation procedure, requirement and our door-to-door service
-Prepare all customs entry documents for import shipments and conduct customs business transactions
-Classify the import commodities and understand the correct entry type
-File shipment entries electronically and generate entry report
-Communicate with Customs, carriers, shipping companies and related parties to get the shipment released timely
-Report all issues to customers and management affecting timely clearance and delivery in a timely manner
-Track and trace shipments and coordinate with steamship lines, freight forwarders and CFS on the availability of imported shipments
-Set up SOPs and follow SOPs for each customer on the correct method and data required for preparing an entry
-Purchase single bond/ continuous bond; terminate bond

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
-Previous experience of U.S. customs brokerage job, or ocean and air operation in freight forwarding industry is a big plus

-Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team, and management

Perform financial analysis, statistical analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis, feasibility analysis, scenario analysis, and ad hoc analysis for operational objectives and goals.
Provide financial models and dashboards with analysis on investment, expenses, capital expenditure, and balance sheet, including variances of actual to budget and year over year.

Create Business Case Study documentation, RFP documentation, and scoring model for evaluation of logistic carriers and CBP (CUSTOMS & BORDER PROTECTION) responses, to monitor metrics for management.
Implement classification models including Lasso logistics regression and Random Forest with cross validation optimization for VIP customers’ order processing. Analyze data of one-time customers, applying regression models to identify potential engaged customers.
Assist in defining the budget process and framework; assist management in the preparation and management of annual budgets; review and analyze budgets and provide suggestions for improvement.
Assist in management reporting, accounting, and compliance advisement; discreetly and accurately track financial results to drive improved management reporting.
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Sustainability, Business Analytics, or related. Courses taken in Business & Sustainability, and Business Statistics.
3 years of experience as Business Analyst or Financial Analyst.
